## Pricing

Work is priced **by the square foot, not by the whole slab**, so a small kitchen or a single vanity is
not charged for material it never uses; remnant-sized jobs are welcome. The rate depends on the material
and the level of the stone — Level 1 granite is the entry point, exotic granite and marble the top. A
standard eased edge and the sink and cooktop cutouts are part of fabrication; decorative edges are priced

- **Quartz**: never needs sealing, but hot pans scorch the resin (~300 °F) — always use a trivet.
  Not for outdoor kitchens (UV yellows the resin).
- **Granite**: reseal every 1–3 years; **quartzite**: every 6 months–2 years; **marble**: yearly.
  The water-drop test tells when: if water darkens the stone instead of beading, it's time.
- **Marble** etches on contact with acids (lemon, wine, vinegar) — no sealer prevents that; etch marks
  can be professionally re-honed or re-polished.
